This week is Spring Break so no preschool for Drew. He wants to play outside all day everyday and he is relentless. It has been beautiful and he has spent a lot of time outside playing in the sand box and in the DIRT. He loves to play road construction with his Tonka Trucks. We have been busy too getting ready for Easter. We got some pretty potted plants for the porch and today we colored eggs. Drew did a great job coloring them all by himself. He had a great time and was very proud of himself.

I wonder how Drew became so fascinated with heavy vehicles.
I cannot recall John ever showing any interest in trucks, etc. when he was little.
If I recall correctly, John (at that age) was only interested in sports.
Then again, we knew nothing of such nice toys when we were growing up. John and I had to resort to making our own toys from left-over grocery store bags and clay. Which was fine until it rained, or it was Recycling Day.
